            The Committee on Health and Human Resources moves to amend the bill on page two, line one, after the word “authorized”, by striking out the period and inserting in lieu thereof a comma, and the words “with the following amendments:

            ‘On page 18, subsection 12.1 by removing subsection 12.1 and inserting in lieu thereof a new subsection 12.1. to read as follows, A physician assistant is required to complete a minimum of 100 hours of continuing education during each two year licensure cycle. A minimum of 50 hours shall be designated as Category I with at least 10 of those hours in pharmacy related topics, if the Physician Assistant has prescribing authority. The remaining 50 hours may be obtained from Category I or II.’.
